Jaipur: The five-day grand edition of Miss Urvashi Season 5 – 2026, a national-level beauty pageant, concluded successfully at The Trade International, Ajmer Road, Jaipur. Contestants from different cities across India participated in the pageant and showcased their talent, confidence, personality, communication skills, and stage presence.

Speaking about the event, Virendra Agarwal said that such platforms provide talented women from across the country with opportunities to showcase their talent, personality, confidence, and individuality, while creating greater exposure to the fashion and beauty industry.

Rachna Choudhary, Director – Miss Urvashi, played an important role in guiding the contestants and overseeing the various grooming, training, and competition stages throughout the five-day event.

According to the organizers, Miss Urvashi aims to provide a prestigious platform for emerging talent from across India and create opportunities for contestants to develop their confidence, personality, presentation skills, and professional exposure in the fashion and beauty industry.

The pageant was organised by Infinity Takeovers Production House under the direction of Show Director Anup Choudhary. Around 3,000 young men from across Rajasthan auditioned this year, and only 33 made it to the finalist list. That works out to a selection rate of about one percent, which shows how much of the contest was decided before the finale began.

Over the three days, the finalists were assessed on far more than their looks on the ramp. The rounds included Talent, Fitness, Question & Answer, Self Styling, Swimwear, Professional Shoots, Walk, Trunk and Traditional. Together they tested skill, physical conditioning, communication and how well each contestant could present himself.

Behind Punit Nehra on the podium, Shailesh Joshi of Jodhpur finished as 1st Runner-Up, Shankar Meena of Jaipur as 2nd Runner-Up, Jitendra Choudhary of Nagaur as 3rd Runner-Up and Mehant Kumar of Jaipur as 4th Runner-Up. The top five come from four different districts, so the podium was not dominated by any one city.

Nehra is also active on social media as a content creator and influencer. He makes blogs and videos on motivation, daily life and personal experiences, aimed at delivering a positive message to young viewers. His win reflects a wider pattern in which creators from smaller towns, who build an audience online first, are now moving onto larger stages such as pageants.

Speaking about the purpose of the event, Anup Choudhary said professional platforms where young men in Rajasthan can showcase their talent, personality and confidence at scale are still few. He said Mr. Rajasthan was built to fill that gap. In his words, it is not merely a title contest but an effort to give direction to the dreams of young people.

The fact that the pageant has reached its fifth season suggests it has become a recurring platform rather than a one-time event. The organisers say the platform can open doors in modelling, films and the wider entertainment industry, and that winners get a chance to represent Rajasthan at the national level. As the new title-holder, Nehra will now carry that responsibility, and how far these opportunities take him will become clearer in the months ahead.

Delegates from the world's top 10-ranked pageant explored the Pink City's culture ahead of an Aug. 23 finale at Anant Mahal.

JAIPUR, Aug. 19 (SCNWire) Contestants competing in Miss Ocean World 2026, an international pageant ranked among the world's top 10, toured Jaipur's heritage sites on Tuesday as part of a week-long event promoting the city's tourism and culture.

The tour formed part of the pageant's official cultural exchange program, which organizers say pairs the competition with tourism, heritage and culture promotion activities in host cities.

Organizers cite Jaipur's global appeal

Event organizers Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra, along with director Ekta Jain, said Jaipur was selected to host the pageant because of its longstanding draw as a global tourism and heritage destination. According to the organizers, international pageants such as Miss Ocean World routinely combine competition rounds with cultural exchange programming in the cities where they are held.

A lunch for contestants was held Tuesday at Hotel Marriott Jaipur, hosted by Dr. Jagdish Chandra, chairman and managing director of Bharat 24, who welcomed the delegates ahead of the competition's later rounds, according to organizers.

Clean-ocean theme anchors the pageant

The competition's central theme is ocean conservation, with contestants representing their home countries expected to promote awareness of clean and pollution-free oceans throughout the event, organizers said.

On Aug. 18, contestants took part in gown and swimwear round photoshoots at Anant Mahal in Jaipur's Mansarovar area, where organizers said models used the sessions to highlight the pageant's ocean-conservation message.

Event schedule runs through Aug. 23

The pageant is being staged over seven days, with several rounds hosted at Anant Mahal in Mansarovar alongside a broader celebration at the Grassfield Valley venue, according to organizers. A pre-finale round featuring talent and national costume competitions is scheduled for Aug. 21. The Miss Fusion India finale is set for Aug. 22, ahead of the Aug. 23 grand finale, when the Miss Ocean World 2026 winner will be crowned at Anant Mahal.

Titles for Miss Globe India, Miss Planet India and Miss Ocean India are also expected to be awarded during the finale events, organizers said.

Jaipur, September 17, 2025: Dabang Delhi K.C. continued their brilliant run in the PKL Season 12 as they clinched their sixth straight win against Telugu Titans at SMS Indoor Stadium, Jaipur on Wednesday. After trailing by five points in the first half, it was Neeraj Narwal who came to the fore with nine points, while he was ably supported by High Fives from Saurabh Nandal and Fazel Atrachali.

The Telugu Titans opened the scoring with a successful raid from Vijay Malik, giving them an early lead. They quickly built on this momentum as Shubham Shinde executed a solid tackle to make it 2-0. The Titans maintained their dominance, with Bharat picking up a raid point and then following it up with a strong tackle to send Ashu Malik to the bench, pushing their lead to 4-0.

Dabang Delhi finally opened their account through a well-timed tackle by Surjeet Singh in a do-or-die raid. Soon after, Manjeet delivered a successful raid, cutting the deficit to 5-2. However, Neeraj Narwal earned a point for his side and revived the Dabang Delhi captain, reducing the gap to 5-3. 

After a slow start, Dabang Delhi gradually found their rhythm and closed the deficit further, bringing the score to 5-4 by the time the first time-out was taken in the opening half.

The Telugu Titans resumed the game strongly, collecting a couple of quick points to stretch their advantage. Their defence continued to hold firm, once again stopping Ashu Malik and sending him to the bench, which extended their lead to 8-4 with just over six minutes left in the first half.

The Titans’ defensive unit maintained their intensity for the remainder of the half, consistently shutting down Dabang Delhi’s raiders. Their solid all-round effort helped them go into halftime with a 14-9 lead, firmly in control of the contest.

Dabang Delhi mounted a strong comeback in the second half, sparked by a brilliant Super Raid from Neeraj Narwal, who looked in terrific touch, earned them three points and cut the deficit to 14-15.

However, Telugu Titans responded quickly with a well-executed Super Tackle, regaining control and extending their lead to 19-14. Dabang Delhi then produced a big turning point by inflicting an ALL OUT, which helped them take the lead for the first time in the match at 20-19 with just over 13 minutes left on the clock. They built on this momentum with a solid tackle to push their advantage to 21-19.

With Fazel Atrachali leading the charge in defence. He pulled off several sharp tackles and completed a well-earned High Five, as the side extended their lead to 27-22 within the first four minutes of the half.

Dabang Delhi appeared to be in complete control for most of the second half, but Telugu Titans kept pushing and managed to close the gap to just three points in the final three minutes of play. However, Delhi’s all-round performance ensured they didn’t lose their grip on the match. 

The Titans stayed in the fight as Shubham Shinde produced a crucial tackle to make it 27-30, followed by a successful raid from Praful Zaware that brought the score to 28-30. With just over 40 seconds left, only two points separated the two sides.

But Akshit stepped up for Dabang Delhi with a decisive Super Raid that pushed their lead to 33-28, effectively sealing the contest. The Titans managed to pick up one more point, but the season 8 winners held on to secure a 33-29 win.

Meanwhile, Devank Dalal notched his seventh straight Super 10 alongside Manprit Pardeep, while Ashish Malik also registered a High Five, but that wasn’t enough for the Season 7 champions to get over the line.

Devank secured the first raid of the game, reaching a milestone by becoming the fastest raider to 400 raid points, achieving the feat in just 38 games. Nitin Kumar opened Jaipur Pink Panthers’ account, but it was the Warriorz captain who was on a roll, giving his team a three-point lead in the early exchanges.

However, the hosts responded quickly with Aashish Kumar’s Super Tackle on Devank, followed by a swift raid from Nitin Kumar to level the score at 6-6. A two-point raid from Ali Samadi then helped the Jaipur Pink Panthers open up a four-point lead, ending a high-octane first quarter at 12-8.

The Pink Panthers slowly began to assert their dominance, inflicting an ALL OUT to extend their lead to six points. Nitin Kumar completed his sixth Super 10 of the season, while Aashish Kumar added four tackles in the first half, giving the two-time champions a convincing 24-18 lead at halftime.

With the Warriorz having only one player on the mat to begin the second half, the hosts inflicted another ALL OUT courtesy a tackle from Aryan Kumar, further extending their lead to nine points. Transgender athlete Nandini Sindhi rises from struggle to national glory in Ice Stock Sport and now dreams of representing India at the international level.

Born and raised in Jaipur, Nandini Sindhi, a proud member of the transgender community, has become an inspiring symbol of courage, determination, and sporting excellence. Her life—marked by hardship, discrimination, and relentless struggle—has transformed into a story of resilience after she won multiple medals in Ice Stock Sport, including the prestigious National Gold Medal in 2025.

Nandini’s early life was filled with challenges. She lost both her parents at a very young age, leaving her responsible for supporting her entire family. While other children enjoyed carefree lives, she carried emotional and financial burdens far beyond her age. Growing up as a transgender child in a conservative society, she faced taunts, humiliation, exclusion, and discrimination. She was denied dignity, denied acceptance, and even denied employment opportunities simply because of her gender identity. With no support and no job prospects, she was forced to beg on trains just to survive.

During one of her most difficult phases, a member of the transgender community helped her understand the realities of society and the importance of inner strength. She later found shelter through Garima Greh NGO, but when the center shut down unexpectedly, she again faced uncertainty. Eventually, she joined the broader transgender community, yet the discrimination did not stop.

Determined to create a life of dignity for herself and others, Nandini began taking care of displaced transgender children and youth through the space earlier managed by Garima Greh’s Sartar Home. During this time, she met Msk Pankaj, a mentor from Garima Greh who played a crucial role in transforming her life. He introduced her to dance training and continued to guide her with genuine care.

Nandini recalls this turning point with deep gratitude:

“It was Msk Pankaj Sir who first told us about Ice Stock and took us to learn it. We all first met at the Garima Greh shelter home, where he used to train children for free in dance, singing, and other activities. Later, he called Manish Sir to teach us this sport and spoke to the Ice Stock Director to waive our fees. He gave us a chance to move forward and requested the association to support us. I thank him from my heart—no one does this much for transgender people.”

Through this support system, Nandini met Ice Stock Director Sakshi Sharma and coaches Sameer and Manish Bhati, who believed in her potential. Their guidance became the bridge between her struggles and her rising sports career.

Her journey in Ice Stock Sport began in 2024 when she won a Silver Medal at the District Championship. She soon advanced to the State Championship, winning Gold, and later competed in the 11th National Ice Stock Championship 2025 in Gulmarg, Jammu & Kashmir, where she secured Silver and Bronze among participants from 22 states.

But Nandini’s dream was clear—she wanted national gold.

On 12 August 2025, at an Ice Stock State Championship hosted by Vivekananda Global University, she achieved two Gold Medals. With renewed confidence, she competed in the Samar Stock National Championship 2025 in Agra, where athletes from 14 states participated. In a tough final match against Gujarat, Nandini and her team secured a spectacular victory by 8 points, finally winning the National Gold Medal she had worked so hard for.

For Shiv Prakash Rathour, Ishqnama is another significant milestone in a career that has quietly but consistently grown over the years. Known for his eye for detail and his ability to tell stories through visuals, Shiv has built a strong reputation in the industry with a diverse body of work spanning films, web series, and music videos.

Allen's Mrinal Jha bags AIR-4 and Aashi Singh secures All India Rank-2 in Girls Category

Kota: Allen Career Institute has once again proved its superiority in the NEET-UG 2025 results declared by the National Testing Agency.

In NEET-UG 2025 results, Allen Career Institute students have secured top ranks in the country as well as admission in a large number of government medical colleges.

Sambalpur; 03 rd July, 2025: IIM Sambalpur, one of the most progressive and fast-growing IIMs in

the country, renowned for setting standards continues to uphold its commitment towards academic

excellence and diversity. In the latest admissions cycle for the academic year (2025-2027), IIM

Sambalpur has reported slight increase of 5% in the numbers of engineers admitted compared to non-

engineers. This development is evident across both its newly launched MBA in Business Analytics

programme as well as the 11th batch of its flagship MBA Programme for 2025–27. In alignment with

IIM Sambalpur’s core values - Inclusivity, Integrity and Innovation, IIM Sambalpur’s incoming MBA

batch also comprises three students with physical and mobility challenges.

Of the total 363 graduates admitted across both the MBA programmes, 186 which is constituting

51.24% of the batch, hold engineering degrees. While non-engineers students’ account for the

remaining 48.76%. The preference for technical background is evident in the MBA in Business

Analytics (MBABA) programme, where the engineering cohort comprises of 61.70%. However, the

flagship MBA programme, reports a nearequal distribution, with 49.68% of graduates from

engineering and 50.32% from nonengineering students. Additionally, the MBABA cohort stands out

for its industry readiness, as 100% of the cohort possess prior work experience, thereby increasing the

practical orientation and applicability of the programme in the evolving business environment.

Complementing this academic spread is healthy gender diversity: the incoming batch is 33% female

and 67% male overall, with the flagship MBA classroom showing 38% women and 62% men, while

the MBABA pioneers include 5% women and 95% men. Disciplinary variety stretches well beyond

engineering—around 20% of students hold commerce and accountancy degrees, 9% come from pure

sciences, 8% from managementrelated courses and 4% from the arts, with the remainder bringing

specialised qualifications in fields such as agriculture, horticulture, pharmacy, law, journalism,

fashion technology, dentistry, hotel and tourism management, and shipping. Seventyfive percent of

the entire cohort arrive with prior work experience. Within the MBA programme 72% are experienced

hires, while in MBABA everyone has at least a year of industry exposure. For the MBA class

specifically, 4% have under a year of experience, 19% bring onetotwo years, 43% have twotothree

years, and 6% exceed the threeyear mark; the MBABA group distributes across onetotwo years

(49%), twotothree years (36%) and threetofour years (15%). Sectoral representation is equally broad,

led by information technology, engineering and industrial roles, banking and financial services, and

consulting, with strong showings from retail and FMCG, education and edtech, pharmaceuticals and

healthcare, sales and marketing, ecommerce, legal services, telecommunications and several niche

domains. In terms of geographical diversity, the batch comes from almost all states and union

territories of India, including the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. In terms of state of domicile,

Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh account for 13% and 12% of the incoming batch, followed by Madhya

Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi, West Bengal, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Kerala,

and Gujarat.

Dr. Manohar Swaminathan, Senior Principal Researcher at Microsoft Research India, led workshops on the Pluriversity Compact concept and introduced participants to advanced Agentic AI systems. On the inauguration of the Jaipur Architecture Festival 2026, the Deputy Chief Minister said that this event is a significant opportunity for those associated with Rajasthan’s handicrafts, handloom, and marble industries. She noted that Rajasthan is the home of handicrafts, and such platforms are essential to further strengthen this sector, which still needs greater focus and development.

Referring to the Prime Minister’s mantra of “Development as well as Heritage,” she said that architectural designs and elements found in old historical buildings should be adopted in new constructions. She suggested that in the coming years, such festivals should be organized for up to ten days instead of being restricted to four days, so that more people can benefit from them.

She further said that Jaipur is globally known for architecture and is the world’s first planned city. Being associated with such a city, which holds a special place in global architecture, is a matter of pride. She added that not only in India but also in many historic and iconic buildings across the world, stone from Rajasthan has been used—an achievement that brings great pride to the state.

Diya Kumari also said that legends from the world of architecture are present at this festival, and getting the opportunity to honour them is a proud moment for her. Describing the exhibition as grand, she said that the large pavilions, impressive stalls, and models prepared by students are the key highlights of the event.

Anju Singh Highlights Key Features of the Event

Chennai : A three-day Chadar Mahotsav and DadaGuru Ektisa Path will be organized from March 6 to 8, 2026, in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Preparations at the Mahotsav venue in Jaisalmer are in full swing. The three-day programme will be inaugurated by RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat.

The special highlight of the programme will be the historic Mahasankalp on March 7, when (1 Crore 8 Lakh) devotees across the world will collectively recite the DadaGuru Ektisa Path simultaneously. The programme is being organized under the aegis of Dada Gurudev Shri Jindattsuri Chadar Mahotsav Samiti. Representatives from Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Hindu Adhyatmik evam Seva Sansthan, Vidya Bharati, and several social and cultural organizations will participate in the event.

Key Programmes Over Three Days

On March 6, the first day of Chadar Mahotsav in Jaisalmer, the Mahotsav will commence with the Mangal Pravesh of Gachchhadhipati Shri, Acharyas, Upadhyays, and Bhagwants. During the subsequent Dharma Sabha, RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Rao Bhagwat will be present. On this occasion, the Chadar Ceremony coin and a Special Postal Stamp will be released. Mahendra Singh Bhansali, President of Jaisalmer Jain Trust, stated that preparations for this historic programme of the Jain community are underway at Dedansar Ground, where massive dome tents have been under construction for the past month. Additionally, a museum is being developed at the venue. Around 20,000 devotees of DadaGuru Jindattsuri from across India and abroad are expected to arrive in Jaisalmer for this occasion. Sacred Chadar: A Centre of Unwavering Faith

According to Organizing Committee Secretary Padam Tatia, the first DadaGuru, Acharya Shri Jindattsuri, is regarded as a great spiritual Acharya of the 11th century. As per tradition, his Agni-Sanskar was performed on land granted by King Arnoraj in Ajmer. It is believed that during the Agni-Sanskar, the Chadar did not burn — an extraordinary and divine occurrence that remains a symbol of unwavering faith for devotees even today.

Historical references suggest that approximately one and a half centuries ago, the Maharawal of Jaisalmer had this Chadar brought from Anhilpur Patan to mitigate a devastating epidemic. Presently, the Chadar is preserved at Shri Jinbhadra Suri Gyan Bhandar located within Jaisalmer Fort. The Chadar Mahotsav is organized based on this sacred tradition.

Two-Day National Vidwat Sangoshthi

On March 7 and 8, 2026, a National Vidwat Sangoshthi will be organized on the theme: “Bharat ki Sanskritik Ekta, Samajik Sadbhav evam Samrasta mein DadaGuru Parampara ka Yogdan.”

Jodhpur University, Rajasthan University, Prakrit Bharati Sansthan, and the Centre for Society and Culture Studies, among other prestigious academic institutions, will participate as Knowledge Partners. On March 7 and 8, 2026, a National Scholarly Seminar will be held on the theme: “Contribution of the Dadaguru Tradition to India’s Cultural Unity, Social Harmony, and Integration.”

Institutions including Jodhpur University, Rajasthan University, Prakrit Bharati Institute, and the Centre for Society and Cultural Studies will participate as knowledge partners. Various Acharyas, Jain monks and nuns, and subject experts will be present.

Thousands of runners participate with great enthusiasm

Jaipur. The third edition of the Marudhara Half Marathon, organized by Kalptaru Shiksha Samiti with the aim of promoting health and fitness awareness in the city, concluded successfully on Sunday. More than 2,000 runners from different age groups participated enthusiastically in the 21 km, 10 km, and 5 km categories, making the event a memorable celebration of fitness.

The marathon was flagged off by the Chief Guest, Mr. Neeraj K. Pawan, Secretary, Department of Sports and Youth Affairs, Government of Rajasthan.

Distinguished guests included Mr. Jyotikumar Satija, IG, Railway Protection Force (RPF), North Western Railway; Mr. Ashish Sharma from ANS Solar; Mr. Rohit Patni from Shubhaashish Marina; and Mr. Dinesh Pahadia, General Manager, RIICO. The main attraction of the event was Ms. Aditi Sharma, Miss India Celeste India 2025, whose presence added to the excitement and enthusiasm of the participants.

The marathon commenced from the Bombay Hospital, Jaipur campus. Runners followed a route through the Sitapura Industrial Area up to Shubhaashish Marina and returned to Bombay Hospital, where they crossed the finish line. On this occasion, Mr. Neeraj K. Pawan said, “The objective of the Marudhara Half Marathon goes beyond just running. It aims to promote health awareness while also encouraging Rajasthan’s rich culture, art, and traditions.”

Jaisalmer/Ramdevra: Under the auspices of the Samajik Ekta Manch (Social Unity Forum), the historic 'Marwar Mahasammelan' was organized on Sunday at the holy pilgrimage site of Ramdevra in Jaisalmer. The grandest feature of this event was its historic 'Jal Samagam' (Water Confluence), where people from all castes and classes poured water brought from their respective homes into a single 'Sarvodaya Kalash' (Urn of Universal Upliftment) and took a solemn oath to completely root out casteism.

This was perhaps the first such occasion on the soil of Marwar where such a massive crowd gathered without the labels of caste or religion, engaging in deep brainstorming on meaningful societal issues. The main focus of the conference was centered on three key points: the eradication of unemployment, the abolition of casteism, and environmental conservation.

Historic Moment: 'Jal Samagam' and 'Sarvodaya Kalash' Around 1:00 PM, the most emotional and historic moment of the event, the 'Jal Samagam', was witnessed. Erasing the divides of caste, people from various communities brought water with them. All of this water was poured into a single urn as a symbol of unity and harmony, which was subsequently named the 'Sarvodaya Kalash'.

Industrialist Meghraj Singh Royal's Emphasis on Unemployment, Education, and Environment: Addressing the gathering, prominent industrialist and Chairman of the United Global Peace Foundation, Meghraj Singh Royal, clearly stated that unemployment is currently the biggest problem. He noted that meritorious children of Marwar scoring above 90 percent are left behind due to a lack of resources. The foundation is preparing such children for higher education and administrative services (IAS, IPS), ensuring that capable individuals enter the administration in the future to change the state's landscape.

Highlighting the immense potential for solar energy in Rajasthan, he suggested that unemployed youth should be allotted barren land and integrated into solar power generation. This, he noted, could generate crores in income and millions of jobs. He also described tourism as a massive source of employment. He elaborated on five key points:

1. Solution to Unemployment and the Solar Energy Model: In his keynote address, Royal explained that Marwar possesses limitless wealth in the form of the sun. Presenting a solid economic model, he stated that if just 10% of Rajasthan's barren land is given to the unemployed and farmers, 1 megawatt of electricity can be generated on 4 acres of land, yielding an annual income of ₹50 lakh. This model can provide direct employment to 4.5 million (45 lakh) people in Marwar and generate crores in revenue, with indirect jobs reaching into the millions.

2. Tourism and Revival of Traditional Arts: He shared his journey of putting Jaisalmer on the global tourism map in 1986 alongside Dr. Lalit K. Panwar. He explained how, starting from camel stables, he built a hotel industry that didn't just construct buildings but provided local Manganiyar singers, artisans, and dancers with a global platform and sustainable employment.

3. Scientific and Historical Explanation of Casteism: Launching a scathing attack on casteism, Royal said that in ancient times, 'caste' was identified not by birth but by skill and occupation (such as potter, barber, gardener). It was merely a work style, which was later twisted into the disease of 'casteism' by the British and politicians for their selfish motives. He compared casteism to the salty water of the sea, urging people to abandon it and create sweet water through the technology of hard work.

4. Tsunami of Technology (AI) and Warning of East India Company 2.0: He warned the youth that in the near future, technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) will snatch away jobs on a massive scale. Therefore, it is essential to preserve manual skills and traditional arts. Terming large corporate retail chains as the new "East India Company," he appealed to the public to stop ordering goods from foreign online companies and to support local traders and brethren instead; otherwise, 70% of the coming generations will be left unemployed.

5. Public Policy, Not Politics (Lokneeti, Not Rajneeti): Meghraj Singh Royal clarified that the purpose of this platform is not to form a political party. However, he called upon the public to send educated, capable youth who wear suits and ties and understand technology and the economy to the Legislative Assembly and Lok Sabha, rather than uneducated leaders.

Marwar's Cultural Heritage and Brotherhood - Arvind Singh Bhati: Arvind Singh Bhati, Student Union President of Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur, stated that today's Mahasammelan is a collective effort to save Marwar's 'Apanayat' (sense of belonging) and love. Citing historical examples, he reminded the audience that Lord Ram ate the half-eaten berries of Mata Shabari, and the supreme societal positions given to Maharishi Valmiki and Mahatma Vidur prove that karma (deeds) is paramount. He recalled Marwar's social fabric, where from birth to death, every auspicious and religious function sees the equal and respectful participation of all castes like Nai (barber), Suthar (carpenter), Manganiyar, etc. Bhati urged the youth to avoid the 'digital cocaine' of social media and have the courage to call out what is right.

Solutions Along with Problems - Mukesh Meghwal: UGPF Manager Mukesh Meghwal, in an emotional address, shared that to prepare this unity platform, he toured the villages and hamlets of Marwar for three months, inviting all 36 communities. He emphasized that Shri Meghraj Singh Royal doesn't just point out society's problems but implements concrete solutions. Hotel management training for 100 youths at Suryagarh with a monthly stipend of ₹25,000, funding marriages for poor daughters, and providing free education for 700 children through the foundation are living examples. From the land of Baba Ramdev, he administered an oath to all attendees to strengthen social unity and brotherhood.

Hard Work is the Real Prestige - Sant Omdas Maharaj: Sant Omdas Maharaj stated that a person's prestige comes not from their money or position, but from their Purusharth (hard work/effort). Praising the selfless service of Shri Meghraj Singh, he remarked that he is 'Royal' not just on the outside, but on the inside as well. The saint honored the sacrifices made by the ancestors of the Meghwal community (such as Raja Ram Meghwal, Manana ji, etc.) for water and society during the historical construction of Pushkar, Pichola, and Mehrangarh. He called upon everyone to tear down the walls of hatred and be threaded together like beads in a single garland.

Example of Great Men and Youthful Energy - Moti Singh Jodha: Youth leader Moti Singh Jodha, in his impassioned address, asserted that untouchability and hierarchy were never part of our original culture. The chief guest at Lord Ram's coronation was Kevat (a boatman). Confluence of Heritage, Culture, and Folk Art: The program was formally inaugurated by Umrao Singh Jodha and Raees Ahmed Malik. Message from Former IAS Lalit K. Panwar and Prof. Shakeel Parvez: During the conference, former IAS and son of Marwar, Lalit K. Panwar, and the CEO and Academic Director of the Marwar Muslim Welfare Educational Society, Prof. Shakeel Parvez, delivered special messages via video conferencing. Both speakers highly praised the three main initiatives raised by the Samajik Ekta Manch and United Global Peace Foundation—eradicating unemployment, abolishing casteism, and conserving the environment—and affirmed that the foundation is doing excellent grassroots work in these directions.

From Integral Humanism to Sarvodaya: People of all religions and communities set an incredible example of unity and harmony by simultaneously pouring water into the urn placed on the stage. The clarion call of this Mahasammelan, rising from the holy land of Baba Ramdev, made it clear that Marwar has now taken a step in a new and positive direction based on employment, education, and brotherhood. Dr. Vikrant Singh Tomar stated that this urn is a symbol of moving from Integral Humanism towards Sarvodaya (Universal Upliftment). The Mahasammelan proved that if the entire society of Marwar unites to focus on education, employment, and the environment, the stigma of unemployment and casteism can be wiped out from Rajasthan forever. This successful Mahasammelan concluded with a vote of thanks by Durjan Singh.

Booklet Attracted Attention: A booklet distributed by the organizers caught everyone's attention. It revealed the truth behind the dominance and glare of solar companies in the region. It detailed two projects outlining a blueprint for unemployment eradication and environmental conservation, leaving everyone highly intrigued.

The two-day show, which concluded recently, left a lasting impression on art lovers and tourists alike by turning simple pebbles into vibrant narratives of love, motherhood, and human sensitivity.

The exhibition, hosted in the Exhibition Hall at Hawa Mahal, featured more than 40 meticulously crafted pebble artworks. From morning 10 AM to evening 6 PM, visitors streamed in to witness how the artist had breathed life into these humble stones using colours and delicate brushwork. What struck everyone was the remarkable realism and emotional depth — many found it hard to believe at first glance that the pieces were created entirely from pebbles.

Rajkumar Gupta, a legal professional by training, has pursued pebble art as a passionate medium of expression for several years. According to him, every stone carries within it an unspoken story and feeling; the artist’s role is simply to recognise and reveal it. This philosophy shone brightly through the displayed works.

The exhibition beautifully captured universal human emotions. One of the most touching pieces portrayed the tender bond between a mother and child, with the innocent face of the baby resting in the mother’s lap. Viewers often paused emotionally before this artwork, their faces reflecting both warmth and a hint of nostalgia. Another standout creation depicted the expression of love, evoking memories of timeless romantic tales. A third piece explored the thoughtful introspection of a young mind navigating life’s complexities.

Cyclists join from C-Scheme, Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar as Jaipur celebrates AU Jaipur Cyclothon.

Jaipur: The grand AU Jaipur Cyclothon 2026 witnessed an overwhelming response as thousands of cyclists, fitness enthusiasts, students, corporate professionals and citizens participated in one of Jaipur's largest cycling initiatives, celebrating fitness, sustainability and community spirit. The event marked the culmination of a week-long campaign dedicated to promoting cycling culture, environmental conservation and healthy lifestyles.

Organised by Sanskriti Yuva Sanstha, Jaipur Runners Club and Indian Institute of Event Management and Research (IIEMR) with the support of AU Small Finance Bank and Eternal Hospital, the cyclothon brought together participants from diverse age groups and backgrounds, all united by the common message of healthier living and sustainable mobility.

The event was hosted from various locations across the city, i.e. Mahaveer Public School, C-Scheme, AU Small Finance Bank branches at Mansarovar, Vaishali Nagar, Malviya Nagar and Vidhyadhar Nagar. The participation from different corners of Jaipur reflected the growing popularity of cycling as a fitness activity and an environmentally sustainable mode of transport.

He highlighted that the week-long initiative featured a World Bicycle Day Talk Show on Sustainable Mobility, a Mega Plantation Drive on World Environment Day, a BIB Expo and Cycling Awards Ceremony, culminating in the grand cyclothon. He thanked all participants, partners, volunteers and supporters for making the campaign a resounding success.

During the event, participants pledged to adopt active lifestyles, promote cycling culture, support environmental conservation and encourage responsible road usage. The cyclothon also served as a platform to raise awareness about reducing carbon emissions through greater adoption of non-motorised and sustainable modes of transport.

Jaipur. The grand finale of Beauty Quest Bharat Season 2 lit up Shreegarh Resort, near Sun City on Sikar Road, with an evening of glamour, talent and high-energy ramp walks. Presented by Jai Shree Jewellers and powered by Sabkhoj Informatics, the show brought together contestants from across the country, each vying for the crown before a packed audience and a discerning jury.

After a closely fought contest, Rishika Chaudhary was crowned the winner. Sanju Chaudhary claimed the First Runner-Up title and Aanchal Chaudhary the Second Runner-Up spot. Kavita Bakolia finished as 3rd Runner-Up, with Kiyah Yadav and Monika Kumawat rounding out the top five in fourth and fifth place respectively. Several other contestants earned special sub-titles, recognising strengths that stood out beyond the final rankings.

The rewards made the night truly memorable for the titleholder. Rishika will get the opportunity to feature in a Punjabi music album — a platform offered by noted DOP and director Ravi Rana to launch her into the entertainment and glamour world. Co-founder and producer Mahesh Kumawat described the platform as one built around personality development, confidence, leadership and career-building for young women rather than competition alone. He said the goal is to open bigger opportunities for participants at national and international levels, with continuous effort going into making future editions grander and more prestigious.

Show director Harish Tahiliani said the finale had been designed to meet international pageant standards, with grooming, choreography, stage presence and production reflecting months of consistent teamwork.
