Kehan is an anthology unlike any other. Over five decades, Sangeet Sabha has had the privilege of hosting stalwarts of Indian classical music: Kishori Amonkar, Kumar Gandharv, Bhimsen Joshi, Mallikarjun Mansoor, Vasantrao Deshpande, Jitendra Abhisheki, C.R. Vyas, Veena Sahasrabuddhe, Prabha Atre, Malini Rajurkar and Manik Verma among them. The book is Sangeet Sabha’s gesture of gratitude to these legends — a dedication crafted in their honour, and one that Agami Realty was proud to help bring to a wider stage.
Each article in the book was written not as a biography, but as a remembrance, penned by an accomplished artist reflecting on the Guru who shaped them.
